Windsurfing

Yep, windsurfing in the UK actually rocks! Just 1 hr train ride from London, you can be in East Beach, Shoreham or Brighton Beach. Winds at the Thames were about 20+ knots and I was on a 4.0 - 4.7, shallow water when the tides go out. Excellent for practicing freestyle maneuvers, just dont get caught in low tide or you have to walk about 1/2 mile back in. And don't go past that jetty because there are WW II land mines still lurking out there. So Andy tells me anyway.

to the east and facing south east. It has a huge car park of it's own
and plenty of grass rigging area.
